Godiva sprang into the world with beauty and confidence.  Although chestnut at birth, she is lighter around the eyes and will probably grey (her sire carries the chestnut gene so who knows for sure).  A perfectly placed star and a snip are the only markings she has.  Godiva is full sister to Hombre and Luchador.  Mona will be bred back to Regaton for a 2014 foal.  What a wonderful pairing this has proved to be - all their progeny are confirmationally correct, pretty/handsome, huge movement, good hair and lovely dispositions. 

Godiva already talks to us humans and is taking laps of the paddock at full gallop, much to the consternation of her mum.  She wears a halter for turn out and will have some leading lessons shortly.  She is the bomb.

2017
Godiva will start work this spring.  she'll learn to accept tack, work on the lunge in a round pen then arena.  Then the fun begins.  She is so elegant and yet powerful, confident in her body.  I think she's going to love applause: her name can then be 'Go  DIVA'.  How appropriate.
